Barking Buddy Dog Care offers dog walking services in Brighton and Hove, Shoreham-By-Sea and surrounding areas.
I’m Emielia and I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I decided to take my adoration for dogs further by starting a career in working with them. I am experienced and extremely confident with all breeds, rescues and reactive dogs.
I am DBS checked, fully insured and First Aid Trained, with a fully secure and air-conditioned van.
When your dog is in my caring hands, I will always treat them as one of my own, providing them with lots of love and attention, as well as them playing and interacting with other dogs.

Dog Walking
Group Walks – £13
1hr walk starting from when the dogs get out the van, water and wash off as required.
1-1 Walk – £17
1hr walking from house or 1hr, inclusive of drive time to walking location. This service is if a dog is unable to walk in a group.
1-1 Short Walk – £10
30 minutes walking from house.
2x dogs from the same house – £20
Weekend or Bank Holiday group walk – £18
1hr walk starting from when the dogs get out the van, water and wash off as required.
Drop In Visits
30 minute visit – £10
The perfect solution for dogs needing checking up on, feeding or to be let out for a potty break. (Excluding walk)
45 minute visit – £12
The perfect solution for dogs needing checking up on, feeding or to be let out for a potty break. Includes a 10-15 minute walk from house if needed.
Doggy Day Care
A super fun filled day for your dog, joining me on double or back to back walks making new fur friends throughout the day. Not forgetting loads of cuddles, relaxation, snoozing and 1-1 attention.
Please note I do not offer day care in my own home (yet).

Overnight Sitting
I understand that sometimes your fur babies feel more comfortable in their own home, which is why I offer this overnight Sitting service.
With plenty of playtime, walks and cuddles to offer, as well as 1-1 attention.
I offer anything from a 1 night stay up to 2 week stays in your home.

Pet Taxi
Vets appointment, dog grooming appointment, moving house, transport to and from boarders, I can help with all your pet transportation needs, in a fully secure, equipped and air-conditioned van.
I am reliable and flexible to make your day less stressful.

Pet Shop Delivery – £5
Save yourself time and hassle, by having me pick up the essentials like dog food, treats or poop bags. Even if its a new lead, coat or bed, I can help by delivering it straight to your door same day.
This is the cost of items, plus a £5 delivery fee. Last minute orders available.

FAQ’s
How many dogs do you take out on one walk?
My insurance covers me to walk up to 6 dogs at a time. Each dog that is new to Barking Buddy will be kept on a long training lead, until they have gotten used to their new group and my recall. I will then only take them off the lead with the owners consent.
How long are the dog walks?
Group walks and 1-1 walks are 1hr long, and this hour starts once we reach the area where the walk will take place. I always ask that owners do bare in mind that times may vary due to collection/drop off of the other dogs, the weather, the traffic, etc.
Do you offer ad-hoc walks?
Yes, at Barking Buddy I am extremely flexible and will always try my best to fit your dog(s) in.
Do you offer weekend walks?
Yes, at Barking Buddy we do offer weekend walks on request only. Prices do vary, please see our price list for more information.
Do you clean the dogs before bringing them back in the winter months?
Absolutely. Inside the van I carry a portable shower, which I use to rinse the dogs as much as possible. I then towel dry them off before bringing them home. I also recommend to my clients a jumper or coat for your dog is a good idea to help protect them.
